At Lugstein Cabs in Lengau, you can complete your apprenticeship as a metal technician (m/f/d) with various main and special modules as well as an apprenticeship as a logistics specialist (m/f/d).

Metal technician (m/f/d) Main module: Metal and sheet metal technology
Your apprenticeship in metal technology with the main module metal and sheet metal technology lasts 3.5 years and you will attend vocational school in blocks in Schärding.
For the rest of your apprenticeship, you will be part of our team and will go through 3-month phases in several departments. From prototype construction to pre-assembly of our driver's cabins, you will go through the various production areas. We do not put you in an apprenticeship workshop, but offer you "learning by doing" in the respective departments.
You always have a personal contact person and learn from people who understand their craft. Your team will welcome you warmly and you will quickly find your place with us.

What you will learn in the main module Metal and Sheet Metal Technology:
- Manufacture of sheet metal parts, sheet metal and metal housings as well as metal structures (drilling, edging, grinding, welding, bending)
- Manufacturing on modern CNC systems (setting, controlling and operating production programs)
- Assembling and installing structures
- Repairing and maintaining structures
- Reading technical documents (construction and assembly plans)
- Maintaining work documentation
- Planning your work steps and processes + choice of working methods
- Quality control and quality assurance measures
- Standards, safety regulations and environmental standards

Operational logistics specialist (m/f/d)
The apprenticeship in operational logistics is a commercial apprenticeship at Lugstein Cabs GmbH. The apprenticeship lasts 3 years and you attend the vocational school in Ried im Innkreis in blocks.
You will learn all the practical content of your apprenticeship at our company. We offer a practice-oriented education. You are a fully-fledged team member from day 1 of your apprenticeship. You will learn from experienced professionals in business logistics and work in a family business with an international customer base.

We manufacture driver's cabins for construction machinery, forklifts, as well as for agricultural and forestry vehicles, which today are real high-tech command centres. Each cabin is developed by CAD specialists in Lengau and manufactured by our experienced production teams on state-of-the-art systems. Our customers include Wacker Neuson, CAT, Jungheinrich and Palfinger. From project start to delivery, everything is in the hands of our team. – And you can become an important part of this team!

Right in the thick of it from day 1
We won’t put you in some apprenticeship workshop. At Lugstein Cabs, you will be a fully-fledged team member from day 1 and learn by working directly on the product in our production facility. As a metal technician, you’ll be in different departments for 3 months at a time. In logistics, too, you’ll learn everything that distinguishes a professional as a business logistics specialist.
